The classic 4711 scent in an aftershave.,
I have always liked 4711 cologne and now I have the aftershave to go with it. The price here is exceptional and the product is first rate. For those of you who are unfamiliar with 4711 it is a very light citrus scent and is not overly strong, sweet or cloying. It is much more light and sophisticated than the average drug store aftershave. Applied it rapidly cools the face and leaves a very clean, refreshing note. For those of you who prefer to be surrounded in a cloud of scent like the average Axe user, this is not for you; but if you are looking for an adult, classic, clean scent, give this a try.

I bought this after shave splash on the recommendation of the members of the Badger and Blade Wet Shaving Web Site. I was not disappointed. It has a very distinct scent that I find very pleasant without being overpowering. It also lasts a long time. YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) definitely applies because we do not all like the same scents. As for me when my two bottles run out I will reorder again. The vendor shipped very fast and my after shave splashes were very well packed. Thanks for reading!

|Much milder than the cologne,
This was an old favourite growing up in a hot country where it was not uncommon to see a gentleman splash some 4711 on a handkerchief and pat his neck with it for an afternoon cooldown! I bought it as a splash to accompany the cologne, which I also got when I was feeling nostalgic one night and was pleasantly surprised to find Amazon offering these at such great prices.
The scent is drastically lighter and milder than the cologne, FYI, and doesn’t have anywhere near the body & mid notes, and will probably last no more than 2 hours. I use it at home, after a shower or a shave, or as an invigorating splash in the mid day or before bed on warm nights.
